Dino Run 2 Playable Characters

For the launch of Dino Run 2, we plan to have 9 excellent playable dino types:

1. Velociraptor
   
2. Pachycephalosaurus
3. Stegosaurus
4. Carnotaurus
5. Deinonychus
6. Triceratops
7. Parasuarolophus
8. Archaeopteryx
9. Pterodactyl

Each dino class will have its own strengths and weaknesses.  We will likely have class races, sensible groupings of dinosaurs that are well balanced to race against one another.  

Ideally, we would be able to allow all dino types to compete in the same races, but this may prove impossible while maintaining some degree of realism to the relative speeds of the dino types.

Beyond launch of the game, we eventually would love to add more and more playable dinosaur types ( and are happy to accept requests. :)

Archaeopteryx’s in their natural habitat.  These feathery friends will eventually have to escape DOOM… of many types… in a few different era’s… in Dino Run 2!

The Archaeopteryx Revealed! This is one of six playable Dinosaurs planned for Dino Run 2. Two more awesome dinos will be revealed as stretch goals, once our Dino Run 2 Kickstarter gets closer to its funding goal!

Some notes:

“The Archaeopteryx is a small, highly versatile and maneuverable omnivore, weighing in at around 1 kg.

It is rather vulnerable with low Strength. Run speed is medium, Acceleration speed is high, Jump height is very high.

Special abilities include Triple Jump, Glide & Dive.

The Archaeopteryx can reach heights only the Pterodactyl can match and can maneuver through tight caves, crevices and openings. If played well, the Archy may perhaps have the most advantage overall, but that remains to be seen..”
