We’ve made some nice updates to Dino Run DX This week!!
First up: The new Customization Interface
Yes! Thanks to our awesome fans that supported this feature on our own, ongoing, Dino Run DX Crowdfunding Campaign, we were able to add this super-excellent dino-customization tool.
Now you can just pop open the Customization Interface & browse the options with ease. No more need to click endlessly to find the hat & body color you want to wear. Goodbye carpal tunnel!
We also went ahead and added the Dino-Selfie Photo Booth!
Features include:
Hats, Colors and Body patterns at a glance, with just a few clicks
Cycle easily through “Most Recent” selections and pairings
Save your Favorite Hat, Body and Combinations for quick access later
Sort by Classic, Indie Collection, Favorites, & Favorite Combos
Select “Auto-Match” to… auto-match body color and pattern with your selected hat.
Try selecting a few different color backgrounds to view your choices, besides the default Blue
Take a Dino Selfie! Customize to your preference, go to the Dino-Selfie Photo Booth & snap away. Catch a pose against an assortment of sweet backgrounds. More background options to come…
Yeah, so, snap some Dino Selfies! Share them with your friends, use them as your social network avatar, or post them to us @doomsurf on twitter if you like. Or whatever crazy plans you have for them…

Gamma Bros is coming to STEAM early access on May 26th! You can pre-order now for special limited time treats & rewards, which will help us add more features to the final release, and also helps us to feel loved and supported. :D
One of the first features we intend to add on our Roadmap is the Multiplayer Expansion and Steamworks Integration.
For the Multiplayer we’re raising the number of Raptors from 4 to 6, and increasing the level cap from 10 to 20, with new hats and hair styles for each new level. Woohoo!!
Dino Run is a retro-style, pixellated, prehistoric adventure by PixelJam Games about a tiny Velociraptor escaping the impending threat of extinction. This game has been around since 2008, but it’s about due for some changes. That’s where you come in!!
Dino Run hasn’t been updated since 2011, but that can change soon, with your help. With just a small donation, you can help out Pixeljam a lot. Some planned updates include:
- Security improvements to make it easier for multiplayer chat moderators (like myself) to enforce chat rules
- Multiplayer level cap increase from 10 to 20
- 10 new hairstyles to customize your dino with
- Integration of Steamworks and Steam achievements
- Custom level seeds
- Avatar generator
- Multiplayer “free mode”: The impending doom is gone, and you can finally relax and chat with your friends in-game!
- 10 new unlockable hats
- New dino colors
- New terrain chunks for more level variety
- New special secret areas
- New collectibles like super eggs
- New single player speedruns
- New multiplayer race maps
- New NPC: Ankylosaurus! He loves to use his club tail… jump on his back and watch him propel you high into the sky!
- More trophies/achievements
