The Stego Ball
Behold the (historically accurate) Stego Ball in action. This incredible defensive/downhill traversal method used by Stegosaurus’ is captured here in this rare pixel art image by Jeffrey Nielson, the brilliant lead artist on Dino Run 2.
If YOU might like to roll into a stego ball some day (and, well, who wouldn’t), check out our Dino Run 2 Kickstarter Exploratory Campaign to help us to make this a reality, along with 8 other Dinosaur classes to play as as well.

Yes!! The Dino Run 2 Kickstarter 3D-Printed Super-Egg Reward Revealed!
For lucky backers of the ARCHAEOLOGIST reward tier (and above), we will make an actual 2-color 3D-printed Super-Egg for you to hold and caress for years to come. :)
This is a concept image (by Terrence Simpson), but the final Super-Eggs will look much like this.
Also, we’re upgrading the stated ARCHAEOLOGIST reward from a 1" Super-Egg to a 1", 2" or 3" 3D Printed Super-Egg, backer’s choice.
Is this exciting? Yes it is!! Help us spread the word by sharing, tweeting, tumbling and generally yelling about it! We made it real easy here: http://pixeljam.com/share
On another note, this is similar to, but not to be confused with the HATCHLING reward tier ($175). The HATCHLING includes an even larger, hatchable, 3D-printed Super-Egg; it has a 3D-printed 2-color Pixel Dinosaur inside. Nice!! Only 9 of these left, by the way..
If you haven’t checked out the Dino Run 2 Kickstarter yet, please do! Things are getting exciting!
Now fully grown, she is truly a creature of legend! We couldn’t have done it without your support. Thank you all. Now, some totally unrelated advice: Probably stay out of the ocean forever.
You can see her growing from an egg HERE if you missed it!
That is an impressive quantity of cephalopod! Looks like she’s working on another set of tentacles. A sound decision. She’s very close to being fully grown now. Help us feed her 150 more Tumblr notes and she should be ready for larger game. Like whales. Or aircraft carriers.

The word “monstrous” is beginning to feel appropriate, but I think “cute” still applies as well, don’t you? That’s a good enough reason to keep feeding her. That, and because “science.” Give her 100 more Tumblr notes and things should get interesting.

She’ll be sinking ships in no time! Wait, we wouldn’t be held responsible for that, would we? That’s just nature, man. The kraken is (politely) demanding 75 more Tumblr notes, so I guess we should probably do what she says.

Whoa! Majestic! This kraken has outgrown our tanks and is being moved into the ocean. Her favorite food, Tumblr notes, aren’t often found in the wild so she’s going to need 75 of yours to grow even bigger.

We are now fairly certain that this creature is actually a Kraken! I’ve never been one to back down from a bad idea, so let’s see what happens if we keep feeding her. She eats Tumblr notes (weird, right?) and 75 should do it!

Her growth is accelerating! I think she’s still got a long way to go. This is no ordinary… er… quadropus. Quadropod? She’s definitely quadrupedal. If my highly scientific calculations are correct, she needs to eat 75 more Tumblr notes to grow.
*I’ll update you in the morning if there has been progress!*
