In honor of Today’s first snowy day here at Pixeljam HQ (Asheville, NC), and also of Interstellaria, a very cool game project on Kickstarter right now, we present this! The interstellaria crew have somehow landed their pod in Earth’s Paleolithic Ice Age, Dino Run 2 style!
Yes, there is a reason dinosaurs are running in the paleolithic. you’ll just have to help us make Dino Run 2 a reality so we can reveal how this could be!

What a strange looking dino..!
He might be some sort of dino-mutation of Subject W from Paradise Lost: First Contact. (only 5 days to go on their amazing kickstarter! Check it out if you haven’t already)
He will also be a playable Dino in Dino Run 2, Dino Run for Steam and Dino Run for iOS, as part of the greater Dino Run Indie Collection!
Whoa!! Dropsy is really freaking out the dinos in Dino Run 2! And I think he’s having a strange effect on the atmosphere..
Well, Dropsy won’t actually appear in Dino Run 2 like this, but we made this image in honor of the Dropsy Kickstarter, which only has 4 hours left! Check it out now if you want to get in on some of that strange Dropsy action!
Wow! The Paradise Lost:First Contact folks made a really nice update post today including a shout-out to Dino Run 2 with this custom PL:FC style Triceratops image (on top), along with images for other great Kickstarter video game projects worth checking out and backing!

The Dino Run Indie Collection revealed!
(update 05/2016: and it’s been released!)
Yes, it’s true! So many of our favorite indie game characters are now about to make their dinosaur cameos in the upcoming Dino Run for Steam (Mid 2015) and Dino Run iOS/Mobile, (unknown release dates).
That’s right, you will be able to play in the Dino Run universe alone or with friends & strangers wearing all of these (and more) hats and masks.
We’ve been thoroughly enjoying working with all of the indie developers who’s characters are represented here to bring you this bizarre and unique collection. Thank you to everyone who is participating! This is very exciting.
We look forward to increasing the collection in the coming months with even more great indie characters.
We’ve made a special little Dino Run mini-game: Enter Planet D!
It’s a a simplified, high-impact slice of Dino Run where we throw you right into some intense action with a more leveled-up dino and some unique scenarios.. on Planet D!

The Dino Run 2 Art Contest begins TODAY!
Over the years we’ve been fortunate enough to collect an enormous wealth of fan-created drawings, pixel art, comics and paintings from our amazing community. We love it! It keeps us inspired and we’d like to see even more for Dino Run 2!
Submissions can be anything Dino Run 2 related, in any digital medium and any style. We’ll choose our favorites and give away some awesome prizes including the game itself. Please keep submissions family friendly. For those of you who want to be involved, this is also a fantastic opportunity to get your ideas, art, and concepts for Dino Run 2 on paper and share them with the community. Once the contest is over we’ll create an online gallery for all to see.
